During the winter months, and as conditions allow, we offer horse-drawn sleigh rides through the woods and fields of our farm here in Braintree, Vermont. This is a traditional sleigh-ride experience, featuring views of the White River Valley and Vermont’s working landscape.

Flat Rate: $212 (Tax included) private ride
Capacity:
Sleigh can carry up to 8-10 adults plus children depending on age.
Duration:
Rides typically last 35-45 minutes. The route we travel is approximately 2 miles long.
Whats Included:
Complementary Hot Chocolate and Coffee will be available before the departure of each ride. Bring your own mugs or feel free to use one of our disposable cups.

CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY
Sleigh rides will be held snow or shine!
Sleigh rides may be canceled by Third Branch Horse Logging at the teamsters’ discretion for reasons including but not limited to unsafe conditions for the sleigh, horse health and safety, or public health and safety considerations. In this instance, a full refund minus transaction fees will be issued.
Customers may request a cancelation and receive a credit for a future sleigh ride due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather events). Cancelations made by the customer after 9pm on the evening before the sleigh ride is scheduled will not be eligible to receive a credit for a future sleigh ride.
WARNING
Under Vermont Law, an equine activity sponsor is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities that are obvious and necessary, pursuant to 12 V.S.A. § 1039. (Added 1995, No. 136 (Adj. Sess.), § 2.)
